Timeless wedding photography at the Charingworth house, Cotswolds
Jack and Tara’s Cotswolds wedding at Charingworth Manor was nothing short of timeless elegance.
Their day was filled with so much love, and I do not think I have ever felt a stronger sense of community at a wedding. Their family and friends brought so much warmth and energy to the day, making every part of the celebration feel incredibly special.
Their wedding was relaxed and documentary in every sense. It was the perfect example that timeless elegance does not have to mean extravagance. Sometimes it is simply about creating a day that feels completely like you, surrounded by the people you love most.
Traditional Bouquet Toss
One of the highlights from their day was a traditional bouquet toss, something I have noticed becoming quite rare at weddings lately. It was such a fun moment to photograph and brought so much laughter and excitement to the afternoon.
Wedding Games
Another standout moment was their evening celebration.
Instead of a traditional first dance and DJ, Jack and Tara put on a Spotify playlist and brought out beer pong and Boom Cup. It quickly turned into one of the most intense drinking games I have ever photographed at a wedding, and it was absolutely brilliant.
The relaxed atmosphere meant I could simply document everything as it unfolded, capturing all of the laughter, reactions and slightly competitive moments between their guests.
Golden Hour Photography in the Cotswolds Countryside
We rounded off the day with some golden hour photographs, and amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, there really is something magical about that evening light.
It gave Jack and Tara a little time away from the celebrations to slow down, take everything in and simply enjoy being together. The soft golden light across the Cotswolds countryside was the perfect finishing touch to a day that felt elegant, relaxed.
