More Than a Photographer

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me exploring the outdoors with my pup, Koda, and my other half. I have a soft spot for vintage and rustic coffee shops. It’s bonus points if there’s a cosy bookcase tucked inside. A true foodie at heart, I’m always on the hunt for hidden gems serving incredible dishes, blending my love of adventure with good company.

And ladies, listen up. My other half hates having his photo taken. He’s also a tennis coach, so when it comes to posing, he knows absolutely nothing. Trust me, I’ve learned all the tricks to help even the most camera-shy grooms feel comfortable. Over the years I’ve mastered the art of helping your partner relax, forget about the camera and actually enjoy the moment.

I truly have my granddad to thank for what I do today. He was the one who showed me the true power of photography.

Growing up in the UK, I would visit him in Poland whenever I could. He lived alone, and every time I arrived, he would proudly share the photographs my mum had sent. They were little windows into our world that made him feel closer to us.

As I grew older, I realised something profound. Even when he wasn’t physically with me, he was always present through those images.

When I moved to Warsaw to study photography, I was able to see him more often. He didn’t have much, but he was endlessly proud that I was following my dream. To support me, he gave me my first film camera, one I still treasure and use to this day.

With each visit, I photographed him and our time together. Those images became part of his story, allowing me to relive our moments whenever I missed him.

That is why I encourage everyone, not just my couples, to take photos of their loved ones. Capture moments with your partner, your children, your grandparents and your friends. One day, those photographs will be all you have left, and you will be grateful for them.

And that is why I do what I do. I capture the real, raw emotions of your wedding day so you can relive them as vividly as if it were yesterday.
