Early Autumn at Notley Abbey in Oxfordshire
Amy and Adam tied the knot at the stunning Notley Abbey, where they planned a fun and relaxed wedding day filled with love... and they certainly pulled it off.
As a Hampshire wedding photographer, Notley Abbey is just over an hour away from me, and I am lucky enough to return fairly often. The venue has such a beautiful balance of rustic character and modern elegance, with stylish touches throughout. Not to mention, it has some incredible photography spots, which is always a dream.
Natural Elegance Wedding Photography
Amy and Adam’s autumn wedding at Notley Abbey was effortlessly stylish and timeless.
Amy wore a beautiful off the shoulder gown with a statement leg slit and looked absolutely incredible. She chose deep red bridesmaid dresses with hints of purple, which complemented the autumnal colours of the season so beautifully.
Adam certainly did not disappoint either. He and his groomsmen chose classic black tie attire, a look that truly never goes out of style.
Their styling and decor was soft, romantic and elegant, with touches of deep autumnal colour throughout. I was completely obsessed with how timeless everything felt. The combination of rich seasonal tones and understated styling worked beautifully against the character of Notley Abbey.
Wedding Day Flash Photography
As darkness fell, Amy and Adam escaped their guests for five minutes for some evening flash portraits.
They grabbed their espresso martinis, found a quiet moment together on the stairs and shared a private toast before heading back to the party.
It was such a simple moment, but one of my favourites from the day.
Those few minutes gave them a chance to slow down, enjoy each other’s company and take everything in before returning to celebrate with their guests.
Congratulations, Amy and Adam. I absolutely loved capturing your beautiful day as your second shooter and wish you both the most amazing future together.
