  • Most of my portrait sessions take place within 15 miles of Basingstoke in Hampshire, but I am always happy to travel.

Whether you imagine your photographs on the beach, in the countryside, among the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, or somewhere even further afield, I would be delighted to create a bespoke quote for you.

I love photographing in beautiful outdoor locations, as natural light and stunning surroundings create the perfect setting for timeless, romantic and elegant portraits. From Hampshire woodlands to London’s hidden gems, the environment adds so much to the story of your images.

If you have a special request for an indoor session, simply get in touch and we can plan it together.

  • Most people feel a little nervous but you do not need to know how to pose because that is my job. My approach is warm, relaxed and natural and I will gently guide you so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

  • On average, a 60 minute portrait session results in around 50 to 60 beautifully edited images.

  • I aim to deliver your final gallery within two weeks of your session. During particularly busy times this may take a little longer, but I will always keep you updated.

If you need your photographs ready for a specific date, please let me know when you book.

  • What you choose to wear is entirely up to you, but I do have some simple tips that will help you feel comfortable and look your best. The truth is, the better you feel in your outfit, the more natural and confident you will look in your photographs.

Think about the overall feel you would like. Some people prefer a relaxed and casual style, while others love to dress up. Whatever you choose, it works beautifully if everyone in the session is on a similar level of dress, so your images feel cohesive.

A colour palette can also work wonders. Aim for tones that complement one another without matching exactly. Soft coordination looks timeless, whereas identical outfits can feel forced (with the exception of little ones — matching children can look very sweet!).

When it comes to prints and patterns, less is more. Bold logos, heavy graphics or busy prints can distract from your connection and the emotion in the photographs. I recommend keeping patterns to a minimum — one person in a couple’s shoot or two in a family session of four or more.

It is also worth considering the location and season. Think light, airy dresses for a golden August evening in a wheat field, or cosy layers with wellies and woolly hats for a misty spring afternoon. Dressing for the setting and the weather always helps your photos feel more natural.

Most people stay in one outfit, but if you would like to bring a change, that is absolutely fine — just keep in mind that outdoor locations may not always have convenient places to change.

Finally, don’t forget accessories. Hats, jewellery, flower crowns or little props can add variety and personality to your gallery. Bring a few along and we can switch them in and out during the session.

  • There is no need to worry. I am very used to working in all kinds of weather and we will create beautiful photographs whatever the forecast. That being said, I always want to give you the very best images and some conditions can make this difficult. If heavy rain or strong winds are predicted, I may recommend that we reschedule your session for another day.

We will usually decide this the day before your session if it is booked for the morning, or on the morning itself if your booking is later in the day. Should we need to reschedule, any payment already made will be fully transferable to a new date.

I kindly ask for some flexibility as sometimes adjusting the time slightly can help us avoid a passing shower and still capture your session in the best possible light.

  • Absolutely. I believe your photographs deserve to be printed and cherished for years to come.

Every image you receive is fully prepared for high-quality printing. Your online gallery is linked directly to a professional print shop, making it simple to order beautiful prints, frames, mounts and canvases that bring your photographs to life.

I’d love to hear from you! Get in touch and let’s create something beautiful together.
