FAQs
Where are you based?
I’m a Hampshire based wedding photographer with a love for capturing timeless, romantic celebrations. Most of my work takes place across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and the South of England, but I happily travel across the UK and abroad for destination weddings.
All travel and accommodation within mainland England and Wales are included, so you can focus on your day knowing everything’s taken care of.
Can we have an engagement shoot / Pre-Wedding session ?
Absolutely! As a creative wedding photographer covering Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey, I think engagement sessions are such a wonderful idea. They’re relaxed, fun, and the perfect way for us to get to know each other before the big day.
It also gives you a chance to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, so when your wedding arrives, it all feels natural and effortless.
How do you book? Is there a booking fee?
Booking your date is simple. A 25% booking fee and a signed contract secure your day exclusively in my diary. This fee ensures your date is fully reserved, covers the admin and preparation work, and means I’ll turn away any other enquiries for that date.
It’s quite common for me to receive multiple enquiries for the same date — especially during peak season — so your booking is confirmed once both the deposit and paperwork are completed.
In short:
Deposit + Signed Contract = Secured Booking
No date can be held without both in place.
Do you travel abroad?
Yes, I absolutely love destination weddings. I work closely with my couples to find the most reasonable travel and flight options. Typically, I only require one or two nights’ accommodation depending on how far the location is, though longer stays may be needed for more distant destinations.
Bringing your photographer abroad doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive — it’s an opportunity to build a connection before you travel and to have peace of mind knowing your photographer is right here in the UK, ready to carefully edit and deliver your images after the wedding.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I’m fully insured with public liability and professional equipment cover, and I’m always happy to provide a copy of my certificate to your venue upon request.
Do we have a meeting beforehand?
Absolutely. Communication is so important to me, and I love staying connected with my couples in the lead-up to their day. Around a month before your wedding, we’ll have a phone or video call to go through your timeline, group shots, and any final details.
Whenever possible, I also love meeting in person — it’s always lovely to get to know each other before the big day arrives.
Do we have any paperwork to fill in?
Yes, but only a small amount. It’s important that the agreement is signed, as many of my couples book over a year (sometimes two) in advance. The contract outlines what’s expected from both sides and details the work that goes into capturing, editing, and delivering your photos.
You’ll also complete a booking form with all the key details I’ll need for your day — this becomes my go-to document when planning your coverage. Everything is handled digitally via e-sign for an easy, seamless process — no printing or scanning required.
Please note that your date is not secured until both the signed contract and booking fee have been received.
Do we get the RAW images?
No, I don’t provide unedited RAW files. The RAW format is designed to be processed, and editing is a huge part of my creative process. When you book me, you’re not only hiring me to take your photographs — you’re trusting me to apply my signature timeless, editorial style to every image with care and intention.
How long should we leave for group and couple photos during the drinks reception?
During your pre-wedding consultation, we’ll create a timeline that fits naturally into your day. As a general guide, I recommend allowing at least 90 minutes for your drinks reception.
This gives you enough time to mingle, enjoy your canapés, and relax with your guests while still fitting in your group photos and some beautiful couple portraits — without ever feeling rushed.
How many images will we receive?
The final number depends on your chosen collection and the flow of your day. I don’t set a limit on how many photographs I take, but for a full day of coverage, you can expect a minimum of around 500 beautifully edited images in my signature timeless, romantic, editorial style.
How does payment work?
To secure your date, I’ll need a signed contract and a 25% booking fee. The remaining balance is due two calendar months before your wedding day.
If you’re booking within two months of your date, the full balance will be due at the time of booking.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes, absolutely. I’m more than happy to discuss a payment plan that works best for you. We can split the balance into smaller instalments to make things easier.
If a payment plan isn’t arranged, the remaining balance will simply be due two months before your wedding.
Can I share my ideas and inspiration with you?
Of course! I love when couples share their ideas, themes, or Pinterest boards — it helps me understand your vision and bring it to life. Feel free to send over any inspiration or prop ideas you’d like to include, and we can chat through how to make them work beautifully on the day.
Can we tweak one of your packages?
Of course. My collections are designed as flexible guidelines, and I’m always happy to create something bespoke. Whether you’d like to add extra coverage, remove an element, or design a completely tailored experience, I’ll create a quote that fits you perfectly.
